Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Recently launched Floyd’s Custom Kitchens website. The inspiration for the overall design came from Floyd’s portfolio of custom backsplashes and cabinetry. I used common elements seen in his kitchens – the neutral stone backsplash as the background and the bottom of a wooden cupboard / cabinet as the navigation.
On the homepage we wanted to highlight some of the publications that Floyd’s Custom Kitchens has been featured in. This is a nice element to have on your website to show credibility. The photo galleries have plenty of portfolio projects displaying the quality of workmanship.
Domani Hair goes online! Recently designed the new Domani Hair website. They wanted to change their colour scheme to something new – Blue!
Created this cool circle background. Kinda gives the website a retro / funky feel. Also used the circles theme for the photo transitions in the Flash animation. In addition, we took the blue circle pattern and created some new business cards to keep their marketing materials consistent.
Recently launched the new website for Miller Caron McLeod & Priestley. They are a family law and litigation firm located in Kitchener-Waterloo.
The overall design has a clean corporate / professional appearance with a user-friendly navigation.
Here is a website launched for Willow Brae Pallets we did December 2010. They are the first pallet recycling company in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region with nearly forty years of experience in the pallet industry!
They are a very earth friendly – Go Green kind of company and we wanted to portray this on their website using earth tone colours and imagery of the forest.
Last week I launched a website redesign for William Radtke Sheet Metal Ltd.
As usual, I created a clean and professional website that is user friendly and easy to navigate. Did some common SEO to help improve their search engine rankings, which will take a few weeks to notice results. Overall the website looks great and I’m excited to hear some feedback from the client in a few months.
They were in dire need of a new website as you can see from the screen shots of the original website. I’m going to estimate that it was designed 8-10+ years ago. It was missing a professional online presence, navigation was next to impossible (had to click back button in browser a lot), and there was no SEO to help their rankings in search engines.
